Vijay Antony shooting for two films at a brisk pace
Music Composer turned actor Vijay Antony is a busy man these days with quite a few films under his belt. The Pichaikkaran actor is a part of two films – Annadurai and Kaali. According to sources close to the actor, Vijay Antony has been juggling between the sets of Annadurai and Kaali to complete them as soon as possible. The actor has completed shooting 30 days for Annadurai and is currently working on Kaali.
Kaali will have Vijay Antony play a dual role for the first time in his career and is being directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi who shot to fame with Vanakkam Chennai. Kaali will also have Vinay Antony appear in a variety of looks throughout the film and will be an experimental flick for the actor. Vijay Antony has been choosing some different subjects right from the beginning of his career as an actor with films like Dr. Saleem, Pichaikkaran and Yaman. The music director has been widely accepted by the Tamil and Telugu audience quite graciously courtesy the kind of subjects he picks up for his films. With Kaali, Vijay Antony will play a dual role for the first time in his career which again has a new subject in it. The makers are taking extreme care to make sure that his looks from the film are not leaked so that the excitement around the film is quite high. While all this is happening, reports are doing rounds that his 2016 super hit film Pichaikaran is now being remade in Kannada with Ishan CV in the lead role.

Vijay Antony shoots for two films simultaneously
Vijay Antony has been shooting for two of his films simultaneously- Annadurai and Kaali. While he has wrapped up thirty days of shoot for Annadurai, he has completed ten days shoot for Kaali. Vijay Antony will be seen in a dual role in the film directed by newcomer Srinivasan. On the other hand, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi (of Vanakkam Chennai fame) is directing Kaali in which he will be seen in several looks. Both teams are yet to zero in on their female leads.

RK Suresh locks horns with Vijay Antony
Soon after the release of ‘Yaman’, Vijay Antony reportedly started preparing for ‘Anna Durai’, which happens to feature him in dual roles. While the first leg of shooting for this film is wrapped up, the actor is simultaneously working towards pre-production works of his other film titled ‘Kaali’, which is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. The shooting of this film will be commencing shortly in time and we get to hear that RK Suresh of ‘Thaara Thappattai’ fame has been signed to play the baddie.

Vijay Antony to don many get-ups
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who made Vanakkam Chennai, is directing Kaali in which Vijay Antony will be seen in several get-ups and RK Suresh plays the baddie in the film. The music composer turned actor is a hot property in Tamil cinema after the success of Pichaikaran. Vijay Antony is also part of a movie titled Annadurai. Vijay Antony is on a role with his 'Pichaikaaran' and 'Saithan' becoming huge hits last year and his just released 'Yaman' teaser too has been received well. Yaman box office success has further cemented Vijay Antony's place at the top of Kollywood
Kollywood is one industry where successful technicians mostly music directors turn heroes. Vijay Antony, who started his career as a music director, is today, a popular action hero. Antonys new release, the political thriller Yaman, has netted an impressive Rs 6.80 crore in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu and is being liked by both critics and masses. Radaan Media signs Vijay Antonys next!
After Saithan, Vijay Antony is getting ready for the release of his political action thriller Yeman with director Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame. Once Yeman team complete post production works, audio launch and release plans will be announced by Lyca Productions, who are bankrolling the film. The latest update is that Vijay Antony has signed his new Tamil-Telugu bilingual for Raadhika Sarath Kumar Raadan Media.Signed my 7th film after #YEMAN for RADAAN @realradikaa madam & @realsarathkumar sir, who introduced me as a music director before 15 years, tweeted Vijay Antony.
Raadan Media will be soon announcing details about director and the rest of the cast and crew of their new project with Vijay Antony. Trade sources say that after Pichaikaarans success, Vijay Antonys Saithan too had good opening in AP/TG and hence, the actor upcoming films are likely to be simultaneously made in Tamil-Telugu.
